NEW DM Team Curating Pages!!

This thread will be all about our new team curating page here on Etsy! I will keep you informed of the page progress here and you can ask questions and give ideas on new lists that you would like to see on our page.

Here is some info as to just what a Curated Team Page is: By Etsy staff:

Many of you have told us your team needs a “landing page” for buyers, and that you’d like better tools for promoting your items. We’re excited to announce Team Pages! Team Pages is a new product enabling you to share member’s shops and tell your team’s story across all the venues where you’re active.

-Team Pages gives you the opportunity to easily curate items and create unique collections to share. Like a blog or a website, your Team Page will have a unique URL that you can share with anyone. It’s a place to direct buyers who discover your team through social media or meet your team at an event. The Lists you create on your Page will showcase your group’s items in an organized, “shoppable” way.

Like I said, I'm just getting this all set up and right now as captain, I'm the only one who they will let do this, but later on I will be able to add curators to help put items from everyone's shops on there too! In other words, not everyone will be able to "list" their items on this page, but others will do it for you. As captain, I cannot list my own items. At some point down the road one of the page curators will be able to put some of my items on the page too.

These pages will organize team shop items under themed lists to make it easier for shoppers to find just what they are looking for. But it's also another way for us to promote our team's shops and items on FB, Twitter, Pinterest, personal blogs, etc.. Just copy and paste the address and tell a bit about the page and this will help to send shoppers directly to our team member shops!

You will also see a button on the Curator team page that says EMBED, you can use this to get the code to put the team page on your blog, etc., also.

When you get a chance, please take a look at the page and I welcome your ideas of List names if you don't already see it on there. We can have as many lists as we want.

Thanks Denise, you and your fellow captains do a wonderful job keeping the team fresh and engaged. You help all of us get more exposure through your work. I checked out the DM team page, I don't quite get how it will work, but I'll keep an eye on it.

PLEASE give ideas of period names that you would like to see for a list, like Dollhouse Shaker or Dollhouse Victorian. Thanks!!

For me it would obviously be Arts and Crafts style also called Mission Style. Mid Century Modern also interest me.

I've been working madly today, visiting team shops and listing items from most - many are on vacation right now, so I'll visit those shops again later on.

What about Dollhouse Easter?
and is there enough foodstuff etc for Dollhouse Thanksgiving?

You have a Bakery/Candies/ Desserts section are there any other food sections you could have I wonder.
Breakfasts and Starters/Mains?

You could add (forward slash) /Pets to Mini Animals as a list title to get more hits.

This looks like a great idea and something I have not heard about on Etsy.

Looks like you have already done a lot of work on it Denise and it's looking great.

A Victorian thereme and and Oriental theme (as Monica mentions) would be good.

There is a very big market for miniatures in the UK and Europe so maybe you could title one or two boards "Dolls' House" rather than dollhouse.

Although I know that the term used in the States is dollhouse, I suspect that many European customers may not know and therefore we may be missing out on some searches. I always try to use both terms in my listings.

Mary - I'm putting all food types (other than bakery, desserts & candies) under the Miniature Foods list. Was unsure whether to put yours under that list or under the Tudor/Medieval list, so I went the the Tudor/Medieval. If you would rather, I can put them under the Miniature Foods - just let me know. Also, I've changed the Dollhouse Christmas to Dolls House Holidays to cover all holidays.

Monica & Shirley - I have created an Oriental Style list and will put items under that title as soon as I can. Also changed some of the titles to Dolls House.

Judy - I've added Fantasy to the Witch / Wizard list. Also added a new list for Victorian Style.

What is a curator of team pages you ask? If you would like to be a curator, you would be able to add team items to the lists on our team pages. It's like one giant treasury for our team. So if you enjoy doing treasuries, you would enjoy being a curator on our team pages.

How much of my time will this take? It will only take as much time as you want to put into it. Just like the "Treasury Box" icon that many of you now have, you will get another icon that shows up on all team member shop listings that you can click on and automatically add an item to our team pages. It's super easy.

Thank you so much for the information Denise and the effort you put into the team! The team page looks really good already. It's a nice page to show to friends who want to discover new shops and items.

There are already so many list names you came up with, I'm not sure if I will be a big help for that... Maybe we can add one for building materials, like flooring, bricks, windows etc, and another one for wallpapers or textures?
