It's taken me 5 1/2 years, but my milestone is that I've passed the $30,000 in sales threshold. Gobsmacked! :D

Oh, the jewelry section isn't new. That was what I started my shop with. I wanted a place for my beads and stuff during the times of year when there weren't any craft shows. The miniatures were only added a couple months later when I decided to try to sell my personal mini collection that had been packed away for several years. I was then encouraged by BlueKitty of the former MIDS team to start making new ones.

Practically sold a pork charcuterie shop's worth- whole hog on spit, pig's head, trotter, loin joint, side of bacon and sausages. Must model the snout and tail!

This week I have exceeded the 200 orders milestone! Not bad for a niche miniature area and a hobbyist.
I could not have done it without this team I can assure you. Friendship and practical advice and encouragement.

I sold a miniature hand stitched carpet on Etsy a couple of years ago.

The collector has it up for sale at the moment on Ebay. I sold it for £75 (approx $98). At the moment the bids are up to $141.50 so he's in profit!

I should have charged more I know. I do now especially after he sold another one of mine about 18 months ago where he made over $200 profit.

He also has one of Lars' furniture suites up for auction.

I am treating it as advertising because he has a lot of miniature collectors who follow him. So maybe they will come to my shop on here.

My miniatures shop is only on 147 sales but I am hoping to hit 1,000 sales in my Book Cover shop before Christmas. I am up to 972 in that shop but started in 2011.

I was really hoping to reach the 2,000 sale milestone at etsy by the end of this year. I am really happy that I have reached it.
