How to Access the Team page

Many thanks to Team Leader Shirley Woosey for figuring this out and providing these instructions.

1) Log in to Etsy and go to your Shop Dashboard

2) Underneath Shop Manage on the left hand side, click on “Community & Help”, choose the first option “Teams”.

3) A window will open saying “Welcome to the Etsy Community”

4) In the top right hand corner you should see the words “Help” and “Sign in”.

5) Click on the “Sign in” button. As you are already signed in to Etsy you will not need another password or anything.

6) The same window will appear again but now the “Sign in” words will have disappeared and your personal logo should appear in a circle in the top right hand corner.

7) Look in the left hand corner of the window. Click on the word “Teams”. This is in the top left hand corner of the window, underneath where it says “Etsy”.

8) A window will now appear which says “Etsy Teams”.

9) Scroll down the page until the see the list of Teams you are a member of.

10) Click on the team you want and the list of threads will appear.

This method works for me up until step six, then when I click on "teams", nothing happens. I tried a number of times.

the only way I can access a link to this team is by clicking on "join a team", then it brings up the list of teams I'm already on, then I can click on the team.

I think I'll try to get my computer literate 12 year old to make me a shortcut or bookmark or something like that.

Did you try scrolling down the page when you click on Teams?

Does your logo appear in the top right hand corner?

It's all a bit of a mess really and Ellie The Captain and me as a Leader can't find the button to send a Message out to all the Team Members.

I've tried scrolling all the way down, and that page is just the same as if I haven't clicked on anything, it's as if the word "teams" is just ordinary text, not a link, because it does not respond at all.  I am logged in, ie my icon is in the top right hand corner.

I don't know how many people are having the same experience, who if they don't think to try "join a team" won't get here.

By the way, bookmarking on the iPad didn't work. When I went back to the bookmark later it just took me to the "welcome to the Etsy community" page, even though I had been on the team page when I made the bookmark.

I hope there is capacity for team captains to message the team, surely it would not be spam if you are just trying to let people know how to access the team page.

I wonder if it's because you are using an ipad?

I have noticed that if I use my Smartphone and use the Etsy app I can't access the Teams but I used to be able to.

I have to go on the laptop now to get onto Teams.

Still not found a way to send a message to whole team.  I expect there are lots of team members who cannot find the DM Team and it's such a shame.

It was easy to find the team, but I am using my laptop. No problem until now. However I don´t like the new lay-out, it is not so  intuitive as the old one....

There is now an option to format the text. Is this new  or I was missing something?
