I am so new to Etsy and am wondering how you get people to come to your shop. If you have any suggestions, please post them or convo me. I have tried the search ads and nothing has happened with that.

Joining some teams helped. Also you can put you listings web address on stumbleupon.com. That is one way to get people viewing your items. Also you can make some treasurys too.

I have been selling knitted items pretty successfully on etsy for over a year know and I have found that this time of the year (spring and summer) are pretty slow. Most people buy knitted items (esp hats, scarves, and mittens) in the fall and winter. Also you should read the sellers guide, there is a lot of useful in there.

Make lots of connections with others out there. Check the members section of this team, follow them and like their shops. Some with see you followed/liked them and follor you in return. People that follow/like them will see your shop in their favorites and will follow/like you. It grows quickly with a few simple steps. List your product at different times of the day so it will show up on the etsy feeds for people all over the world.
