what a mess!!!

a customer bought an expensive item through dc it did not go through right away she thought so she chamged credit card and ordered it agin . then i get the two orders which says they both are on hold, i called the customer who tried to call her cc companies but i have to cancel them not her ! and they are not showing for me to cancel becuase etsy is holding them! and the customer needs this item shipped today! it is a big sale help !
OY how can i resolve this mess?

Etsy would place a hold if there was a potential issue with the card... this is a situation where I would not rush it, especially if it is an expensive item. There have been a LOT of credit card number thefts recently (including mine, and 70 million others) and fraudulent purchases are on the rise. I'd be patient and cautious here...

How can i contact etsy to cancel these orders as they are still not cleared and they there no way to cancel or reach etsy!

Ok i had to call etsy, it went up to the trust and security team. A glich. If there is was a confirming process issued that slowed it down . There is something wrong with the DC i have had other buyers order twice because it is confusing or slow or the amount does not show up as paid. Has anyone else had this problem?
Now the whole whole order is pending the scetuity team taking care of it because you cant refund if the order has not gone through!
Oy. What a headache. Stay tuned.
