Will my direct deposit bounce?!

Hi guys!

I recently changed my bank account in Etsy and the 1 cent deposit failed today, problem is, I received an email yesterday telling me that my funds were on their way to the account number Im guessing is wrong or failed validation.

What will happen to my deposit? Will it bounce if the 1 cent authorization failed? and if it does, will Etsy credit the amount to my shop payment acount?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

If the penny deposit failed, I would assume that the real deposit would bounce as well. For direct deposit problems, you can now request a call back phone call. The info on how to do that is here https://www.etsy.com/help/article/4872

To those interested in the outcome,

The payment bounced and I received a credit on my Shop Payment Account. Etsy sent me a message asking me to verify my bank account. Im currently waiting for my account to be verified (icent deposit thing). Etsy made this process painless and smooth,
