Where do I find all the information on how DC works

Hi, I am new to using DC and would like to know all the ins and outs...how it works so to speak. I have gone to the help and FAQs and there is nothing really there to read. Does anyone know where all the guidelines and info is located.

I had my first DC sale and of course the buyer wanted it sent priority which costs more and if it were paypal I would have been able to just send an invoice or request for money. I would just like to know more.

Any help would be appreciated,
Shirley

IF your customer agrees you can still send them a paypal invoice for the shipping upgrade. A percentage of customers use DC simply because it is the default.

Thank you, I already told her not to worry about it...so I will just eat it. Not the first time and I am sure it won't be the last, lol.

Thanks for taking the time to post!

Re: Where do I find all the information on how DC works

If you have it stated in your listing and/or in your policies that you ship Standard, but they want a faster method, the customer should pay the extra. I'm sure someone will shoot me down for the suggestion, but why should you 'eat' that kind of cost?
The customer could be convo'ed before you ship, that higher cost/faster shipping to their destination costs $ more, and that you can cancel their order, put the item in RESERVE for them WITH THE HIGHER SHIPPING COST in the shipping info. (not meaning to 'shout', but don't attach the new shipping cost to the selling price or you get whacked for fees)

I have sold items that ended up being sent FedEx (which is NOT my norm) and the customer pays for the speed if they really have to have it right now.
