You should ship as soon as possible since you won't get paid by Etsy until the item has been shipped and three days have passed since the item was ordered. Assuming of course that you have already gone through your ten day waiting period.

once etsy sends you the email, the money is yours and you can ship right away. Just have to wait as Nora explained
