Sold and item. Item still processing?

Any reason why this happens?

or why it says it is NOT PAID but directly underneath says:

It can take a few minutes. Up to about five minutes I have noticed. If you are interested you can see invoice by going to your "sales" via store front page 1. There is a message from Etsy warning that the sale is still processing.

Direct Check out has been great and this is a very short delay, almost the same amount of time you spend at a register waiting to pay....... :)

It took 5 hours to process. It has processed now.

Still cannot figure out why it would take so long?

DC has been great and running smooth! I did have my first processing order today and am still waiting for it to be complete. I would have to assume if an order is in the processing stage, an issue with the buyers credit card (payment) is what holds up the sale.

did you get an email from etsy? once in a while if a cc doesn't process quickly you get an email and you wait until they let you know that it went through.

happened to me once, I think it took a few hours.

if that isn't what happened, I would suggest sending a convo to one of the team leaders

I received an an order on 5/30 with an email from Etsy that the order was in process. I have not received an email yet to say it was ok. Still waiting.

This is fairly normal to take anywhere from 20 min to several days. We process cards on our main site and they process for at least 12-24 hours before clearing.

We love direct checkout at Etsy. Very simple and transaction refunds are FAR easier then Paypal.

I received an email almost a week ago and still received nothing from etsy.

is there a quick way to see pending? I went to look at not paid under solds but the only thing showing is pending paypal payments?

thanks for any help. just realized I shipped one that etsy said was pending and don't ship but it's been a week now with no notification from them.

I'm having the same problem. It has been more than 24 hours and the order is still processing and I have received no notification from etsy about it. I'm getting nervous as it was a large order and I would like to start it to get it sent out in a timely manner but I don't want to work on an order that could potentially never be paid for. has anyone had this happen and then eventually received the money after days of processing?
I'm starting to think that direct checkout might not be the way to go.
