Printing mailing Labels/Postage

I have to admit, I'm already missing printing postage labels on paypal. Now I have to create them manually AND pay for delivery confirmation. Is there any plan in place to create a postage system like paypal uses anytime in the near future? Might just wait and see.

Didn't mind paying a fraction more to use the direct checkout, but don't like the extra work and added expense of paying for delivery confirmation.

What do ya'll think?

You can import your csv file to paypal or print with paypal.com/shipnow That way delivery confirmation is still free. Hope that helps.

The USPS does not charge for delivery confirmation receipts when labels are printed from their website. They also now offer shipping management software that can be downloaded directly from their site onto your computer, which also covers multi-shipping.

The shipping discount that paypal offered is also given on the USPS site. I'm not sure if you'll find the process as effective as what you established using PayPal, but it's definitely worth trying out. They've also got a new app available. It's not the best but I'm sure it'll get better with time.

I'm so glad to now offer an alternative checkout method. I'm sure I'll be making adjustments and refinements until I find a process that suits me best.

I use endicia - as with any of the online postage DC is free for Priority Mail and I pay the discounted postage rates. Yes there's a monthly fee, BUT you can also print First Class International postage - customs form included - and never, ever go to the post office. You can't print First Class International on Paypal.

Addresses can be cut and pasted in one fell swoop and they're saved for repeat customers.

Between gas prices, me being crunched for time, and the post offices all being understaffed the monthly fee is easy for me to pay!

I just signed up for stamps.com and LOVE it so far. Yes, there is a monthly fee (although there is an offer for the first month free). However, you can print international postage (no more post office visits!!), get the discounted prices (like PayPal) and link it to your Etsy shop so that you don't have to type addresses - they just come into a batch area and you click and ship. I love the fact that ALL of my shipping is in one location and I can just buy a chunk of it and forget about tracking each individual postage charge. Well worth the monthly fee - I think I'm in love :)

I use Shipstation. The fee is $19.00 a month but it is well worth it to me. It prints the customs slip automatically on the label, the discount is there like paypay, you can do bulk orders and it prints the label and packing slip together. It has a place to merge orders, split orders or manually put in an order. The tech support is awesome. I can also print a report each month that tells me how much I received from the customers for postage and how much I spent to send the packages. That will be helpful for my taxes next year. I know there are lots of good shipping sites out there, but I really am impressed with Shipstation.

I find First Class or priority do-able still in PayPal, but it's an extra window-extra step and takes more time to process an order. Too much hopping around.

To be beneficial to sellers, I hope Etsy incorporates shipping labels into Direct Checkout!! Since making DC live in my store, the orders are coming through in it more vs paypal.
