Need help International Shipping Label

I know I've been told you can ship International through Etsy, and that I can print the label and put it in any mail box without going into the p.o. I said I'd try it, and I just did TRY. I am a nervous wreck that I'll do something wrong and they won't get it....

So, PLEASE can you tell me exactly what I should expect to see when I do the labels on here? PLEASE....

I got as far as putting the first class international..package..weight..it asked for customs description, did that. and it gave me what looked like the correct shipping amount. So..Now What?

I don't recall the exact steps. I gather you don't see a button for 'print?'

I just looked and you should see a "download shipping label" link. After it downloads, you open it and print it.

Hi, I know how to print the label, I'm just concerned that it will have what is needed for international shipping.

I know that you can't print international labels from Pay Pal or the P.O. so I'm confused on how we can do it here. Make any sense?

I send them a lot from here ....first class international....just print label but make sure you sign and date the left bottom of the page as it instructs . I have never had an issue at all

If the address is international, the program will create an international label that has all the info needed for customs. The only one I've printed for Etsy was an international first class label.

The only labels I buy from Etsy are international. It is sized about a half sheet.

For first class international....

Top of the label is the scan bar code, customs number, date, originating zip and class of postage.

Middle of the label is similar to what you see in the written out customs form. Left side is the table with the CN22 declaration information.

Right side is the From and TO info.

The bottom part of the label is for your signature.

The first time you do it, you will be convinced you missed something because it is that easy. Print, sign and date, attach label to package and drop it off or carrier pick up if your carrier does that sort of thing.

Just make sure to choose which service you will be using(I always use first class international) , add the right amount on weight, plus 1 ounce (I always put everything in the envelope, before I print the label and the extra ounce is because the label it is going to be printed), once the label is printed, signed at the bottom and add the date.
An extra step, I always take a picture of the complete package with the label, and sent to the buyer through the conversations, so they can see the packet with the information and let them know that their order has already been shipped.

Thanks All. Thought I'd tell you that I Did It! It was easy, and I wondered why I was so worried. I asked the buyer to please let me know when they receive it.

I had forgotten to sign and dated 2 packages at the beginning and both got to Canada just fine and on time. Best is to make sure you signed and dated. I usually dropped off my package in the mail box at the po. I avoid the offsite location because I am not comfortable. The tracking number should give limited tracking if your package moving forward or not. You can refer your buyer to the tracking records, which they can also see on their page.
