My phone number on International labels

I've noticed that when I print my international labels my phone number is in the label. Is there any way to avoid the phone number comes out in the label?

it is required, I think. I know stamps.com requires the phone number for the buyer, and I always just used mine

Is that something new? I shipped a package to Australia a few months ago and I don't remember seeing my phone number on it.

I didn't notice either until I checked and it is really tiny way below the return address

I put a business card I. Every package with my phone number, and in almost five years I have gotten three phone calls, so I am not concerned about it being on the label

I think it is something new. I noticed that it is on the new international custom forms and not on the old one.

Yes, the new custom form asks for either a phone number or an email address for both the seller and buyer. I usually put my phone number in one slot and my email address in the other.
