My Money Has Disappeared

I made my first direct checkout sale last week, and the money was scheduled to be deposited in my account today. For several hours today, my shop payment account said the payment was processing, and for the past several hours, it has told me that the funds have been sent to my bank account. I have checked my bank account several times, and the deposit has not posted.

Is this an error, or will it take even longer to actually show up in my account?

Alex, it takes a while to show up in your bank account. Maybe even a day or two.

It should be in tomorrow. It's 'usually' the next day. But like Susan said, it could be 2 days.

Takes 2-3 days to show up and process with my bank, so it depends on your bank too.

My experience has been that the money disappears from Etsy on Mondays sometime between 1 & 7 p.m. EST. By around noon on Tuesday, the deposit shows up at my bank as "pending" and the funds become available either Tues. evening or first thing Wed. morning.

All banks are different. Yours may take a day or two to process, it's not automatic.

My funds are usually deposited the day after Etsy makes the deposit.

Etsy transfers money Monday at 4:30 pm. It's in my bank account by Wednesday afternoon. Your bank's processing times may vary, but generally once you get into the groove, it'll be showing up at the same time every week. Remember that holidays delay the process, like MLK day this week.

If anyone is in need of faster transfers, Bank of America is always in my account and available the very next business day after the Etsy transfer. My Monday transfer is available to me Tuesday morning. They have a no fee online account that works well for us. Not my favorite bank, but they are fast when it comes to transfers.
