Made to Order...

What to do with Made to Order items? Considering that we are paid only after we ship?

With Paypal and Google Checkout, the order is paid in advance.

I will not be able to create Made to Order paid with DC, since I want the funds before I create the items special ordered.

How do we handle those with DC payment?

Coco - like stated above it is against Etsy policy to do that sort of thing, so I have taken it out of my shop/listings. However it seems like some large and established shops are still doing it. If you did it in DC you would not be telling the truth in order to receive your funds because you would have to mark the item as shipped each time you receive a payment. If there was any dispute at all, then I'm sure Etsy would not be on your side! Even doing it through Paypal is a risk now because we know that Etsy does not support this 'NOW'. I'm sorry, we're with you on this one.
