Just had a DC sale to borderlinx/dhl and a door number. Is this a real address?

From a quick search it looks like borderlinx is some kind of shopping service for people living outside of the USA.

Plug in borderlinx into a search engine you should see some entries and the company website come up.

So is it a way to save on shipping?

I think it is a way for buyers outside of the USA to shop in US online stores. Some stores block out of USA purchases. Some buyers buy a bunch of things and have them all shipped at once. Could streamline the customs process for a buyer.....it could save them on shipping costs.

I think different buyers use them for different reasons.
