How long does it take for a cancelled order to process?

I had an order cancellation last night. I had no problem cancelling the transaction and issuing a refund through DC, but it is showing "pending" this morning. Why? and how long does it generally take to process a cancellation? I re-listed the item immediately after this, but now wonder if I should wait until the cancellation is not "pending."

If I recall correctly, it usually takes a couple of days, but it will eventually go through so there's no reason not to re-list.

And, after it completes the cancellation, you cannot renew, as it goes away. you have to renew it before you cancel, or while it is pending.
