Do not ship DC message

Today I got a second order that etsy has asked me to hold until its finished processing
The first one was on Sunday second one today and still no info from etsy from the first
one. It shows up as a sold sale under amount of sales section but it does not appear under etsy sold orders.
There is no info on when it will clear when they will contact me has anyone heard of yech a thing?

It says

We wanted to let you know that you have a pending sale of 1 item.

We're still processing your order and will send you a confirmation email as soon as it's ready.


Etsy check out takes three days plus now they are holding orders with no info or no follow up email?

I think these notices just mean that Etsy has not yet confirmed the credit card charge from the buyer.

I wonder if the buyer is aware that the purchase is being held up for several days with this verification process on their credit card? I wouldn't want them to think it is being neglected by the seller and not being shipped quickly on purpose?

It seems like they should be getting a message to this effect also, don't you think? It should not drag on for days for fear they may just get fed up and want to cancel the transaction!

I was so concerned myself about that I reached out to the buyer and let them know twice but I was never contacted
