I am a big fan of direct checkout and have been very happy with all aspects of it. I am wondering if there may be a plan to phase out paypal in the future? I was thinking maybe sellers that took direct checkout exclusively, and no paypal payments, could get a better rate? This would give sellers an incentive to use exclusively as well as boost Etsy's income, as they would get all of our business and not just a portion of it. I am all for Etsy making all of my money transfer money, and keeping it in house.
Also maybe give the buyers a coupon code to use DC or some kind of rewards program?
