Depositing funds? So confused.

Hi all,
I signed up for DC on the 30th. In that time I have had five sales and am waiting payment.

On the Shop Payment Account page, I received the message that it will take 10 days for me to receive the money.
This is what that message says,
"You can begin depositing funds on September 9, 2012.
For your security, we apply this one-time 10-day delay if your bank account on record has recently changed."

Depositing funds? Where? How do I get these funds to my Paypal? When I signed up for DC, I had to link them to my bank account as it wouldn't let me link it to PayPal, but I wanted to keep my bank separate from Paypal.

This is very confusing as I am in limbo until the 9th. But, on the 9th, where or how do I make a deposit and how do I get the money to PayPal and can I link it to the sale?
Cindy

Cindy, DC has nothing to do with paypal and your funds will never be deposited there.

Go to your "shop payment account" It will tell you how much is available to be deposited. Deposits are automatically sent to your bank by etsy every Monday afternoon.

Then your bank will get the money 2-3 days later.
Does that make sense?

Thanks. I was hoping to keep all my etsy money in the paypal account and not my personal account. Makes it easier to keep it all in one place. I guess I can transfer the money from my bank into my Paypal account. I just started using Outright, so trying to keep things simple.

Etsy Direct fee are a little less. Deposits are deposited into your checking on Mondays. But don't forget to apply shipped so the funds will deposit to your checking.

I would check to see if there would be any PayPal fees associated with adding money from your bank to your PayPal account
If there is then you would be paying the fee's 2x

Hey Cindy,
Outright should also be taking your direct checkout sales into their records, we have integrated with them, so that itself shouldn't be a problem.
