Debit Cards

This might be a stupid question, but I did a search and did not come up with an answer, so here it goes...

I am new to the hole debit card thing and I know many people are and many are not....

But will customers be able to use their debit cards in direct checkout?

I think as long as it has a credit card logo, like visa etc, it should be fine.

I use mypaypal debit card as credit
