Re: what do you knowe about remanufactured ink?

Do you mean non-brand ink?
If so - check your warranty, as using a different brand to that of the printer manufacturer may invalidate your warranty.

Re: what do you knowe about remanufactured ink?

I apologize for my typos. I think that the ink will not affect my warranty.

Re: what do you knowe about remanufactured ink?

It is always stated in printer warranty guides that if you use non-branded (or non-genuine as they're also known as) inks that it can and will void your warranty if you're found to be using them. I worked in retail for many years and have seen a lot of brands come back through with the same issue.

Most often, the print quality is not as good, the colours are more dull than what you get using branded.

Re: what do you knowe about remanufactured ink?

As someone who works with commercial printers I can tell you it does voi warranty and some people end up having issues with clogged print heads.

If you are selling something you print I would keep using the highest quality of ink.

Re: what do you knowe about remanufactured ink?

Using off-brand ink will not void your warranty. Printer companies will tell you this, but it is not true or enforceable.

According to federal law, no company can compel you to use only their products to keep your warranty.

So yes, you can purchase and use off-brand ink without voiding your warranty. If a company tells you different, ask them to prove it. They won't.

Re: what do you knowe about remanufactured ink?

Off-brand ink has a very short life on your print, not archival. Possibly worse than that is that when they do fade, some pigments fade faster so you end up with the magenta staying and the others fading. It can also have a higher tendency to clog print heads on your printer. They are usually very poor quality and it's noticeable.

Re: what do you knowe about remanufactured ink?

I recently bought a non-HP color cartridge for my printer and it was a VERY noticeable difference in the print quality... I think that the non-brand black ink would be fine but shell out the extra for the color ink, you won't regret it.
