To late to edit previous post, as I had to go look this one up -- For an "outside the box" (pun intended) idea, here's one we came across on the Scrapbook Ninjas team for mailing 12x12 scrapbooking papers. I haven't ordered from them yet, but it looks like a possibly doable solution:

I use iprintfromhome.com for my prints and I love them! Their quality is good and shipping is fast. They're inexpensive too -- only $2.00 for an 8x10. They offer several different finishes as well. Highly recommend them.
