How long does it take for a new shop to start selling?

Hello to you all!
I was wondering how long does it take for a new shop to start selling.
I' ve read in forums and groups that even if you have a nice shop, with nice items, good photos and SEO etc. it takes two to three months to start having lots of views and sales. Do you beleive this is true? What is your story?

I am wondering the same thing. I am going to check out your shop if you don't mind. I just opened my shop and only have a few things listed but do not have many views. Even with good titles, and tags. Good luck to you!

I checked out your shop, very nice items and photos, keywords seem fine, I beleive you totally need more items, so that you can be seen at search :)

Hello Laura, I love your designs, they are different, bright, colourful and sexy! As a first impression, nice everything, one think that needs work is items titles, try and read stuff about etsy SEO
for example, this (very nice) illustration

coluld have more keywords, like Woman Print, Red Home Decor, Erotic Art, Sexy Gifts, Woman Wall Art etc
Try to use phrases and not just words, like "Home"or "Office"
