HELP! Primary photo: to mockup or not to mockup?!!

Hi guys! I am a new Etsy seller and in the midst of setting up my digital art prints store and have hit a road block!!! I still have a long way to go in terms of branding, marketing etc. but I need some help from experienced (and successful!) sellers before I go any further...

What is the best way (primary photo) to display your digital prints?!

At the moment most of my items are displayed in a mock up scenario i.e. lounge room, as I am not sure if buyers will see the same potential as I do with how a print could look in their home. HOWEVER, I noticed that a lot of other sellers just have their primary photo as a close up in a simple art frame.

What is the best option to attract customers?!

Any help would be MUCH appreciated!!!

THANKS :-) Sam.
