Color profiles

I send final files as PDFs, which defaults to a CMYK color profile. This leads to a lot of confusion because the vast majority of my customers view their files on the iPhone, which distorts the colors to neon. Should I mess with my PDF settings and change the color profile to RGB? Just wasn't sure what would be most beneficial and cause the least problems when printing.

Could you send both formats, with an explanation of which one is used for iPhone viewing and which one to use for printing ?

I've just started telling customers to download the photo to their desktop computer to view the most accurate colors. That seems to solve the problem. I would be hesitant to send RGBs for items that are printed.

I'm so glad you posted this question Jennifer and thanks for the helpful answer Audrey. I just opened my shop and so this might save me from some confusion in the future.
