contemplating selling digital downloads need a little guidance

Currently I only sell original illustrations but would love to sell my artwork in away others might be able to use for their craft projects.

What is the most common file type?

Would my current illustrations work or is it better to do individual items.

As you can tell I really don't know much about digital download, so thank you for in suggestions you might have!

Your art is awesome! The most common file type for digital downloads is a JPEG file. You might be able to edit each listing and just upload a JPEG file for each art piece. Good luck!
