SEO question

Hi,
My shop is still new, but I am seeing increased views as I've worked on SEO.
In my listing titles I want them to read well for humans as well as for SEO.

I don't like reading titles of an items that are stuffed with 25 keywords that don't tell me much. I also want the item to have a name people can remember.
I had for my titles
Name of item - person quoted - printable/download/poster 81/2x11 or 8x10
for example :

Soar - Helen Keller quote - printable/download/poster 81/2x11 or 8x10

It occurred to me that it might be better to have the person quoted first.

Helen Keller quote - Soar - printable/instant download/poster designed for 81/2x11 or 8x10 frame

I added the "designed for" and the word "instant" again so that it reads well for the person who does come to the page.

I have made this change in the first three listings. Do you think this is a good idea? In the shop view now the person quoted shows.

Re: SEO question

Hi, I'm Gra and pretty much a newbie to Etsy, having starte in late January and made only 8 sales so far, so my experience is, to say the least, very limited.

But I found your question very interesting as tweeking my own titles is pretty much at the top of my to do list. So I went and did a search based on some of your descriptions.

If you type the person's name first your items seem to come considerably higher than typing other parts of the description. So if people want things with quotes from a specific source, it seems you've done the right thing.

On the other hand, I have no means of knowing if most people would look for, say, George Burns or maybe inspirational quote, funny quote, etc.

Anyway, good luck with your shop and hope this at least helps a little bit.
