How much shop content before getting noticed?

Hi Everyone,

I was curious, how much shop content did you have up on your shop before getting noticed or getting any sales?

I know I still need more stuff up, that's for sure, but I was curious what other people's experiences were.

I have 21 items and still no sales........................I heard at least 30 or so.

100 is standard, BUT, most shops that are high ranking shops have at least 500 or more (often a 1,000!) listings when it comes to digital designs.

I heard that it also has to do with the quality of the work and the way you write and take pictures ? the good thing is that you do see what people are looking at and listing as their favourites as you go along.

Our modest store never has more than 30 listed items (usually less), but we've managed a few sales all the same. That's why, IMO, even if you still have limited items listed, you shouldn't be discouraged! Focus on your promotion and perfecting Etsy SEO as you're adding more listings. Good luck! :)

The more items you have the more chance of being noticed especially in search. Yes people are buying digital art prints. mydeardear is right about promoting and perfecting SEO.
