just woke from my nap...for which i turned on c-span/house of reps to get some nice background sound...
i looked at the numbers as they were voting to pass some bill or another and more than once have now seen where the vote was evenly split yea/nay - right down party lines.
what if no bill could pass unless equal amounts of both major parties were for it, not just one or another.
it sure would cut back on the log jam of bullshit legislation and keep it down to the main topics, no?
