I'm presuming I can do specific links to listings, here... If I'm wrong, someone let me know so I can change the post...
I've only been around for six months, but after answering the same questions in the forums a few dozen times, I finally put together a pair of guides to help sellers.
The Photo guide has information on camera settings and adjustments, getting good exposures, managing depth of field, white balancing, optimizing your images for etsy, and so on.
There are three versions of the Photo guide, differing ONLY in the number of
example images I can critique and/or post-process (Many people don't enjoy doing the post-processing on their images or don't have the skills to do it well, or
simply find that their time is more valuable doing other things. The examples
enable me to critique their images, show some basic editing, and send them back as examples.)
Be sure and read the description on the three versions and select the one that best fits your needs.

It has sections for Camera Features and Accessories that are useful for product photography, Building versus Buying a Light Tent (light box), using a light tent or light table, lights and lighting, lighting your item, using unusual lighting to make your images unique, backgrounds, getting exposure right, tools for checking exposure, getting sharp images, and a list of post-processing tools. There are a lot of examples of
photographing a variety of items including pottery, plush toys, crystal,
clothing, jewelry, and other items. The link to the Product Photography guide is
