How long until you got your first sale?

Hi everyone,

I am very new to Etsy and just opened up my first shop. I do not think that  I will become a sensational seller overnight, however I am curious how long it took everyone to make their first sale...

Let me know in the comments how long you waited until you made you first sale!

Hey! Welcome to the team!

I opened up my shop back in 2015 but went dormant for a few years before reimagining my shop. When I first opened, I think it took a couple of weeks or maybe a month to get my first sale. I wasn't going about selling in the best ways back then. I just "re-opened" my shop in a way about 3 weeks ago and I got a couple of sales in the first week. 

I mostly focus on making my images look good and self-promote on my socials. Best of luck!

Hi, I think my very first sale took 2-3 weeks and after that, it was slow for a few months (summer months).  Just keep working, stay positive and creative in the first months (and always)!  Good luck!

I started etsy about three years ago and made my first sale after about two weeks if I remember but I had a rest for a few months,now I'm back and sold a vintage raincoat in less than a week ,hope it keeps up like that,and good luck to you
