We started a thread to help promote one another's shops on another team and were closed down (nicely) because that wasn't their mission. So we've come over here to this team as a place to promote each other (and others) to our hearts' content.

Just got to read the blog feature on you, Barbara. Great job! I'm really impressed that you're only 25. I wish I had started at that age!

Everyone else, nice job on the hearts-not-farts today. I saw 28 features of my items on the feed, the most I've ever had in one day. Are you also seeing better results from our efforts?

Do you girls use Search Ads by any chance? What do you think about it? I am not really impressed with it :-/

Tuca- I'm not paying for any advertising right now.
I've read that the trick to advertising is consistency- having even a small ad running regularly for a long time puts your shop in people's heads. Then, when they need/want what you have, they'll think of you more likely than another shop. I read this in "Guerilla Marketing," which I highly recommend.

I've not found search ads worthwhile, although perhaps because I haven't been consistent. But, to tell the truth, I hardly look at anyone else's search ads. I generally don't find they catch my eye.

Yes: for me too, higher views and hearts, some few sales, but not a lot. At least we're getting each other out there to be seen! Thanks for the hearts today, and Anna and Tuca, for the treasuries.

i have not yet used search ads because i´m actually not willing to pay for promotion. my bracelets (if you type in friendship bracelet) are on the first page and also on second, third,.... i don´t see the sense in it.
