I'm a visual artist and have a project (The Dalek Project) that I intend to spend a year publicly posting about. Work for this project has already begun.
This could be a great opportunity for others to help build a portfolio of their own.
There will be regular internet posts and I'm hoping for it to be something that gets a lot of online and offline buzz. This is where those of you who do publication would come in. At the moment the only sites up about the project are a Facebook fan page, Tumblr, and a Twitter account.
A clothing designer would be of great help to create at least one but probably not more than five outfits to be used for the project. The items of clothing produced are to be worn in publicity photos, the projects avatar, and occasional posts.
A photographer, digital artist, make-up artist, and hair stylist will be needed for project publicity photos.
If interested a photographer can let me know that they are interested in regularly photographing the project for its daily post. The majority of photographs will be of items and not people.
The specific details of the project will have to remain secret to those who are not going to be members of this team to protect the idea before the projects intended launch date of January 1st, 2012.
This project is unpaid and meant to be a fun, geeky, portfolio building experience.
This casting call will go on until the team has been assembled. The dates posted are for the date I post the call to the projects expected/intended end date.
