Good afternoon! My name is Tyler Cochran and I have been working as a sculpture artist in non-functional art and have recently made the big leap over to fully functional home furnishings. I am currently finishing my Masters of Fine Arts at the University of Iowa. These current fixtures are a meeting point of my various areas of emphasis; being sculptural, highly refined in design, and technically challenging. These fixtures are intended to be both a beautiful sculptural object, as well as a source of gentle indirect light that is extremely comfortable and enjoyable to be around. I've recently had several curators and other art figures show interest and purchase a few of these pieces to place in their home. Soon I will be plunging into furniture focusing primarily on wood and metal. Check out my page and soon I will be adding more!
