Shop photo help

I’d love some fresh eyes on my shop pics! I will be adding various screen printed bags and towels to my shop very soon. Well, after I take a boat load of pictures.

I have assembled various light boxes and tried a few different things in my shop. I have a great camera, that I’m still learning how to use, even after having it almost a year! I also use Photoshop for editing.

Are there any photos that you think are well done in my shop now? Anything I need to adjust going forward?

you might want to work on the cropping. a few of them feel too zoomed in. it usually is because of how it's cropped in the etsy picture views.

thank you! I've got a cropping issue.... I think I also need to zoom out when I'm taking photos. Sometimes it just isn't right from the beginning. Sometimes it's intentional, but doesn't look good once I get it listed.

Any cropping advise? Do you square your pics?

hi,

i sometimes square. i also try to keep in mind the dimensions of etsy cropping. that helps me a lot since i have an idea of what i want to show up in the different etsy frames once i upload my images.

the dimensions of pictures in your shop and in treasuries (first number is the pixels of the width -

shop gallery view: 170 width x 135 height pixels

shop thumbnail view: 75 x 75 pixels

shop item listing view: 570 pixels - with the with the alternate views thumbnails (60 x 60)

the same dimensions apply to treasuries.
