Happy 2016 everyone. I have been away due to illness and writing a novel, but have some time to check in and would love to respond!
Remember that when working with energy, as in all of life, everything is connected. I like to think of the chakras as little machines, that do their best to spin on their own, but truly need each other to work at their optimum. SO when they have another one to rev up with, they love it!
When you put one or more chakra in alignment the others can simply become aligned and activated. Remember that with Spirit and with crystals there is an organic nature to working with both, rather than an exact science. In other words, while it is recommend that blue stones are good for the throat chakra, your intuition may know that you need stones to open your sacral chakra so that you actually know the truths you wish to speak. So working with sacral chakra stones would actually help the throat chakra as well.
Personally when I reconnected to my third eye and saw it for the first time, my root and sacral chakras snapped right into action! It was a cool bonus. If it's simple if of the angels!
I have found with my students whom I mentor in embracing and honing their psychic abilities that when they develop one ability, the others awaken automatically.
