Have you looked on www.knittingcentral.com yet?
Otherwise, you can design your own knit pattern just as you would a crochet pattern.
Determine which yarn you want to use and which needles and then figure out the gauge. Yes, I said Gauge.
Based on the gauge, and the results from your notes (below) you will be able to determine how much yarn will be required.
Next step - determine the shape. Will it be a cardigan or a pullover style? Round neck, or V-neck?
Get all measurements required.
How much ease do you want and where? make a good note.
Now to write the pattern.
1) Determine the pattern repeat that you would like.
2) based on the measurements needed, figure out how many repeats for the front, back and sleeves (width) and what the length needs to be in #of repeats.
3) determine the shaping (armhole, neck) again using your pattern repeat and the finished measurement size.
4) based on all your notes, go and have some fun! Buy yarn!
5) start knitting! You've got a great pattern.
