Please HELP me improve my shop!

I barely get any views and almost no sales. I tried to do everything by the book, and was hoping to get results but it is not working. Please tell me what you see wrong and what should I change to get more views and sales.

Olga,

You have such a lovely shop! A couple suggestions:

- Try making pictures a bit lighter. Bright, light and happy pictures get a lot of views on etsy and are also much closer to being featured by etsy curators. I would also have more pics with babies wearing onesies (make it sure the print is well visible - the featured photographs in your shop don't show the print well!). Make mothers smile when they look at your photos and you will get new customers.

- Not sure your titles are well searchable. Use all the characters (yep, that might not be as visually pleasing, but it does rank you higher) and put the most important words upfront (baby romper, not veggie dreamer). I would also change the tags to something more commonly searched (who searches for unisex baby?) and less general (meditation is not the first thing a mom would type to search for baby wear).

- Add more "cuteness" and "sweetness" to your description. Moms, you know.

- Participate in team games to gain some favorites and views. Even though those are forced, they still help you appear high in search.

Thank you so much for the detail critique! I changed my titles and added better tags and pictures! I noticed more views and a few sales :)

Hi Olga,

Cute designs and beautiful shop! I am a graphic designer so I will focus on photography/logo. Here's just a couple of things you might want to look at:

Photos - Like what Lisa said.. happier and brighter pics get more clicks. you can try using a bright background with some toys as props.

For the shirt on hanger shot, try tying a bow to hanger or set it up like it's in a nursery.

I know it can be too time consuming to stage a photo shoot each time you make a new design. if you can do photo editing, you can try using some stock baby clothes photos or take some yourself of your baby wearing blank shirts, then super impose your new designs on to the shirt. this will cut down on time taking new photos each time. just a suggestion! feel free to message me if you need more help :)

Banner/Avatar - you can use your banner as advertising space for seasonal promotions and discount codes

Avatar - your avatar is the only thing your customers will see on the mobile Etsy app, so make it count! the dream catcher is beautiful, you can add some text like your store name, or a coupon code to draw people in.

That's all I have for now... I am learning myself everyday that there's so much more we can do in terms of marketing and social media so that's all new to me too!

I've only just really started with my shop www.etsy.com/shop/BowWowBarkeryLLC in the last couple of months. I have been watching you tube video's and trying to do everything the right way. I am only getting views, which is awesome, but I would love to see some sales also. Please tell me how to improve my shop to get more sales.
