Greetings Dayle,
I just took a visit to your Etsy Shop. It is original, unique, and I felt very good about my visit. I even added you to my circle of trust AKA Etsy circle that is.
I am still very much a student when it comes to keywords and titles. Yet, I am learning from a nice 25 page guide on Search Engine Optimization (SEO for short).
If you haven't already studied this (and I do mean study; and perhaps allow up to a month or so to grasp every point) then it's link is:
www.seomoz.org
This is an ".org" site not a ".com" or ".net" type of site.
Here is my recommendation on how to go through this study:
FIRST, read page 24 on "How Search Engines Operate" including "Crawling & Indexing."
SECOND, read page 25 on "Why Search engine Marketing is Necessary"
THIRD, take a break and then re-read pages 24 and 25.
NEXT:
Read page 11 - Examples of Good and Bad Shop Titles.
Read page 12 - Examples of Good and Bad Announcement pages.
Read page 14 - Examples of Good and Bad Item Titles.
Read page 15 - Examples of Good and Bad Item Descriptions.
Read page 19 - How to Judge the Value of a Keywood.
THEN:
Start you study, and as I said I am at my 3rd round of study of this guide and am still learning from it.
For more information please see my reply to:
"Am I undervaluing my shop?"
Please convo me if you have any questions or just to keep in touch.
Best regards,
Mike M.
