Product development questions

I'd like to ask the advice of the members of this team about one or more ideas I have specifically targeted at personal cutter users. What I want to do is make the best possible use of my fractal catalog in connection to your personal cutter(s).

Re: Product development questions

I personally prefer 8.5x11...as weird as it may sound, I find there's less wasted paper for what I do in an 8.5x11 than there is in 12x12.

Although I often buy single sheets, it is more cost effective for me to purchase in bulk. I buy my cardstock 500 to 1000 sheets at a time, and try to buy at least 25-50 sheets of the same patterned paper if I can get it.

I do not, under any circumstances download paper for printing on my own computer. THAT is absolutely not cost effective, not for me at least. When I consider the cost of toner or ink cartridges, and add in the higher quality paper that I would have to purchase to get the same standard as commercially printed paper, it's just not worth it. And it would take a high grade of printer to avoid the pixelation that happens with digital downloads, and I'm not yet ready to invest in a printer of that quality!

With all that being said, I love some of your fractals. I just don't think I'm in your market base...but, you did ask for opinions! As for using on a Cricut, I can see using a tiled format of a fractal on one sheet, to achieve multiple similar diecuts. That would make for a very unique product.

Re: Product development questions

Jenn,

(questions)

01) What price are you willing to pay for 8.5x11 inch fractal patterned paper for the following quantities? (price per sheet of the same fractal)

25
50
100
250
500
1000
2000
5000

Details about the paper:

matte, 80lb text-weight paper. Contains 50% recycled content (10% post-consumer and 40% pre-consumer waste).

02) How big would you want each tiled fractal on the 8.5x11 inch page?

03) Would you prefer to pick out just the fractal you want from my web catalog of roughly 50,000?

04) Or would you rather choose from whatever I feel like listing on Etsy?

Re: Product development questions

Have sent you a rather involved, long-winded conversation on the matter!! Now, I'm off to sniff some paper.
