Hi everyone! I'm Dawn and I've been part of the Etsy world for quite sometime and finally opened my own shop this past week! So much to learn but I absolutely love it. By day, I manage the commercial sales for a large e-commerce company and by night, I'm a gardener, ceramicist, mother, wife, and collector of all things beautiful :)
From taking photos to writing content, I'm a bit overwhelmed with this process but I'm hooked! Not getting much sleep because I'd rather work on my store!! Hello Etsy! I am Traci from Circa Passé and I have hundreds of items to get listed and am trying to get them listed fast. Do you have any tips on speeding up the listing time?
Hi Traci, I just received some advice from a seller whose been on Etsy for 2 years that I'm happy to pass along! You might already know this but in case you don't, this is what she said; create a basic template for each style or subject of items. For example, If you have 10 scarves to load, create a template that includes a basic description, size, material, the year you think it was dated, maker and title if you have it, etc.
So what I did was completely create one and with all the information needed then copied it to a new sheet and removed the information pertaining to the first item, leaving space to fill in the blank. All I have to do for the next one is fill out size, title, maker, etc.. You still want to include exclusive content per item but this should definitely speed up our process :) Hope this helps!!
