MSPCA Walk for Animals

One of our team members, Linday Russell, is participating in this awesome walk to raise money for animal shelters in New Hampshire! She has a personal donation page setup within the main web site for MSPCA and would love for any of us to help by donating through her page if we are able.

The walk in her area is scheduled for September 9th. From what I have read on the web site and what Lindsay has shared with me, it looks like it will be a pretty big event and include a craft fair, raffles, food, contests, microchipping, behavior demonstrations, kid's activities and music!

Lindsay is only taking the monetary donations through her page, however she did provide an email address for anyone to contact the community outreach director, Heather Robertson for more info regarding sending other possible donations for this event. Her email is: hrobertson@mspca.org

I also volunteer for an animal rescue group and love your cause. However, my charity budget has all been spent on other CHHH items.

Sorry about that, I'm not sure where I got New Hampshire....the web site maybe. But this event is in Massachusettes, and will support animal shelters in MA, I will update the blog in a bit.

I will be making a donation through your page, but I think I will wait a week or two to see what comes along for sales first.....can we donate via paypal on your page?

Shannon purchased the keychain we had listed for this charity. I just donated 100% of the sale less shipping ($14.00) via the personal website listed above.

My donation (via Shannon's purchase) from yesterday was not showing up so I did all the steps again. I have my fingers crossed that it worked this time but only once. LOL

Shoot it is now showing up but using Lindsay's name as donor not JewelryByAmyT. I have emailed their webmaster to please correct this since the monies came via the sales of an item. :-(

The MSPCA walk was a big success! The walk took place in three locations Boston, Hyannis, and Newbury. Together we raised over $200,000 for animal shelters in Massachusetts thanks to your contributions. Thanks again!
