Well as a shop owner and creator of my products, I can honestly say that after I too set this up, I saw no related sales. However I just dont have the time to monitor accurately. So I cover all my bases by just putting up a banner offering a coupon code right away with a percentage off. I dont care anymore if it's a "returning, new, or abandon basket ". Coupons work for retailers otherwise they wouldn't use them. And as a shop owner I am willing to give a coupon to those who type in the code. There are market gurus who research data and adjust to suit a business plan, that's just not my nature. I worry more about the taxes I will have to pay out to the federal government for programs I really and soulfully do not support.
