New variations feature

Hello- does anyone know if the new variations feature allows for different shipping weights?  I feature chair sashes that people can purchase in different quantities, but as you purchase more it obviously increases the weight & cost of shipping.  I currently have to have multiple listing of the same product just so my shipping costs make sense.  I just wasn’t sure if they have fixed this yet or not.  Thanks in advance for your help!

You can select your own variation from the current variation section. You can group shipping weights. Then you can merge photos showing the amount of material that makes up these weights. With a single login, you are offering multiple options. Looks like it could be. Good to try)))
