Gaining followers on Instagram takes time. I've been at it faithfully every day for a week, and I'm exhausted. So, to expedite the process, I created a group so that we can support each other and grow ALL our Instagram followers (or Etsy Shop Favorites, Pinterest, or Fb pages). It's a HUGE follow-for-follow game! Plus I love following Etsy sellers because I do find some cute, unique, and amazing items posted by each maker! Please this creates a great support system! Our sales were very good for our first year-excellent. Nothing came from Facebook. We even took out ads on FB-nothing from it.

None from Twitter.

On the other hand we did get sales from Instagram.

We do all website posts and ads through Google and that also paid off. Facebook is a old horse that just cant run anymore and people have moved on.

The facebook groups is just for sellers to support and grow their shop. Not promoting to buyers in this group because the purpose is to grow faster than usual using the follow-for-follow games within the group. Some people want to grow their numbers, and this group does that. I agree in promoting, as it should be done with google; facebook promotion is "eh", I guess it depends, they didn't work for me. Instagram is great for some people. I find instagram and Etsy Ads are best for me as my shop is mostly geared toward Etsy Sellers with designs for their shop.
