Hey Brooke!
You've got some really nice stuff! Here are a few of my ideas for improving your shop. :)
1) Your avatar - before I clicked on your shop, I assumed you sold vintage clothing based on your avatar. I'd choose a picture more relevant to your store, or even a picture of your favourite item!
2) Your photography - some of your headpieces are blurry, so I can't really see what they're supposed to look like. This would turn me off of buying them. Also, I noticed that most of your pictures only show one angle of your items. Try to incorporate more than one angle, including a great close-up shot, so that your customers can see exactly what they're buying. Furthermore, I like uniformity in a shop - it looks more professional. Try to take pictures of all your items on the same background. A white or light background is usually the most effective. And use natural light in your photos! Flash tends to alter the colours of the images, or adds shadows. Take your pics outside if you can on an overcast day to eliminate shadows and reflect the true colours of your pieces.
3) Item Titles - You want to make your items easy to search for, right? To do that, you'll want to change up some of your item titles. For example, "Meet Chicky the handmade knitted/crochet cot toy": if I were a customer looking for something like this, I wouldn't type in 'Meet Chicky' in the search bar, right? Make your item titles relevant. For this one, I'd write something like "White Chick Toy Crochet Knitted OOAK Baby" - these are all descriptors a customer might use to search for this type of item. (PS. Is it supposed to say 'cat toy'? I've never heard of a 'cot toy'.)
Hope these suggestions help! And don't give up! Your first sale will come before you know it!
