Actually, it took just a few weeks. The second purchase, though, took ages. I just happened to have a rather uncommon product that the customer was looking for when I first opened shop. Luck, really.
It's all about networking and getting your product out there.
With so few listings, you're going to be hard to find unless you're really advertising. You can boost your listings really easy by offering package deals.
For example, you have two Thanksgiving Day bows in two separate listings. That's great, but create a third listing with both bows so the customer doesn't have to strain their finger clicking around your shop. Maybe offer fifty cents off the price, or free shipping, to encourage the customers to spend more money with you.
The more listings and the more options, the more customers enjoy the experience and the more likely they are to find you in a search.
