I have taken a BOM Craftsy class. Love Amy Gibson's explanation - fully understandable for me as a Foreigner. I design paper pieced blocks and have learned useful tricks and skills.

Re: What was your Craftsy class experience?

Several weeks ago I purchased the "Design Your Own Handbag" class and I loved it! I've been designing my own purses since I was a teenager and 35 years later, I learned so much from that one class. Great format as well.

I've also taken lots of the free classes and I love the formats for them too.

Re: What was your Craftsy class experience?

Just joined Craftsy this week and finished my first online course today on Bag Making Basics - it was a great help to the new drawstring bags I am designing for Montessori sensorial materials. What a great forum Craftsy is - I can't wait to explore the site more.

I loved Jennifer Hanson's Tunisian Crochet class. I had never taken the time to learn that technique and she is the best teacher I've ever encountered. Awesome class!

Re: What was your Craftsy class experience?

I've taken the 2012 BOM from Amy Gibson (sold for $225 here on ETSY), Quilting large quilts on a small machine, Strip Paper Piecing (my favorite, please bring an advanced class onboard) with Peggy Martin, Learning free motion quilting, and the 2013 BOM,. Which I'm sad to say I'm very far behind on because I opened my shop in May and have been trying to stock the shelves every since. There may be another class or so, but I can't think of it right now if there is.

I've taken several classes, the latest was Design It, Quilt It, with Cindy Needham. It was so great I even blogged about the quilt I made!

Re: What was your Craftsy class experience?

I'm currently taking Free Motion Quilting with Feathers by Angela Walters. I love it, especially the fact that I can watch whenever I want to. I still have a 3 y.o. at home so my time is very limited and often fractured into small bites. That works really well with the Craftsy classes. I've also learned a lot and my feather quilting has finally gotten to a level that I'm happy with.
