Hi everyone, I've just joined the team and thought I'd better introduce myself.
I'm Kate, 43, mum of 5 daughters and nannie to two beautiful grandchildren (soon to be 3).
I've been making my own jewellery for about a year and would by no means consider myself and expert, but I do enjoy myself and have recently decided to start showing and selling pieces to the world. So I'm new to Etsy and have been looking around and trying to find my feet for the last 3 or 4 days.
I don't think my work has a particular style, although I may be wrong, I just make things that appeal to me and I'd love to branch out and diversify, especially I'd love to try working with precious metal clay and enamelling. These are dreams which will have to wait however, (funds are extremely tight - being disabled and unable to be in employment - I have to rely on state welfare for the time being, but what the future holds, who knows ?)
