Customers can access their files immediately after their order is placed by visiting your personal login page. You can find your page by visiting YourShopNameHere.crafthub.me/login. You will see that it displays your download landing page with a login box at the bottom of the screen.
I've also been using this login page as a way to speed up my order processing time. If I am sitting at the computer and I see an order come in, I go to my login page and enter the order information. By entering the information it triggers the system to process the order. Much better than waiting 2-8 minutes :-)
I must say I love the way my custom landing page looks!! yay!!
great tip on processing the order faster.
so if we direct people to the landing page that means no waiting at all? I always thought it needed to wait just a little bit for them to use the landing page.
I'm trying to log in to see what the custom landing page looks like, but keep getting this error message: "Error: Your order could not be found, please double check your Order ID"
Julie - Yes, you enter the html code into the download page section of the "content" tab.
When you log in are you using the customer's email address? Also make sure it's the receipt ID# (aka order number) and not the transaction ID# which is listed next to the product in the confirmation email that Etsy sends out.
Julie- yes you can customize your landing pages using HTML from the content tab, that's how i put my shop banner and images into mine. the images need to be hosted somewhere and then you use HTML to link to them!
Claudine, thanks again. I will be working on some code. Yours looks absolutely fantastic!
Paula, I've brought up the page for my shop, and used 2 different customer email addresses & order numbers. Both of these orders have been downloaded though could that make a difference? Thanks!
